Overclocking Dell XPS 700

The XPS 700 is one of the first systems Dell has shipped that supports overclocking. This video is a quick demonstration on how to overclock the Dell XPS 700.

noob stuff
Yes and No – It depends entirely upon what way you have done the settings, Overclocking is not just about making things faster, its more about making the system operate faster whilst maintaining its stability. For instance, if you overclock your components a little bit over what they are capable of handling, the system may become unstable and abnormal effects will occur, like the machine slowing down, freezing, restarting and etc. A simple “yes” answer to your question cannot be justified.
lame
overclocking = teh fail
dell is alien-ware its the same thing except the huge price difference in alien-ware
knows somebody how i can turn the cool’n'queit function off?
only because of there special mother boards, Id go with hardcore pc, great temps (under overclocking) same performance, better price. Go for alien-ware because of a quad core laptop.
from bios
or the speedstep function?
how can i put off the cool’n'queit function?
I just made a mistake of buying one of these on ebay didnt know that its btx not atx grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr kinda limits me to processor power ..
