This is the stock bios / cmos hp dv6000 bios dv6700 rockntechnologies.blogspot.com dv6930us pavilion f.58 Overclocking is not realy possible except to disable the c4 sleepstate ,intel centrino core2 duo speedstep , which will give you full dual cpu performance when windows vista powerstate is set to high . windows vista speed tweak disable speedstep c4 bios sleepstate While not realy a overclock this tip will force your intel centrino powred machine to run all cores at full speed while in high performance power mode . Very good boost if your on ac power but will eat your battery up 30% faster. Check out my other vista speed up vids and PLEASE SUBSCRIBE enjoy www.rockntv1.com

OK I see no reason why you can not take advantage of this adjustment , centrino by intel refers to a system that is in TOTAL intel parts meaning video and wireless chipset but if you have this or the like in your bios you should have no problem
thank you for watching and dont hesatate to ask me Questions
THX
JOHN
ps please comment on my music
i dont care if you hate it
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz Centrino
Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS
2 GB Ram
and useless more stuff..
but yeah i keep my laptop very cool during gameplay, i have like 4 usb fans attached to it and an extra laptop stand to make air flow much more quicker and its on a table not on carpet so yes
HABBOAHMET
give system specs please as mine is intel based ( centrino) . This adjustment
keeps the system at full speed regardless of load, i edit video on this machine and have been pleased, just be sure and keep well cooled
ie: not on the carpet or your lap

Ok i subscribed to you and thanks for the tip of making my pc faster, i have a dv6000 and when i want to play games such as bioshock or prototype its hell slow and the pc boots up very slow so is this any danger to do?
hope that helped ,the factory post only diplays options for like 3 seconds,I recommend adding a few seconds if your going to be makeing the c4 adjustment often or you have external boot drives.
show and tell bios video dv6000/6700/6930us BIOS f.58
@JipJJ just trying to help those who dont understand like flyer43 below…. evidently further explanation is in order
A long story for a simple trick, but thanx!
@flyer43 = ken … try watching the video… its a bios screen …. and it says right on it what it is…..lol dude wanna borow some glasses…sorry i could not resist… have nice evening.
@flyer43 sorry to bust yer bubble bud, but dv6000/6700 hp part number dv6930us … by hp dv6000 series….. but had you subbed earlyer this year , you might have that info already. have a nice day.
LooooooL DV6000???

K,
sorry to here of your friend. if you like
I have some dedicated pages to these vids ,, links in decription ear ya laters
Umm…I dont have time right now, just lettin you know, gotta head outta town for a few days, friend dyin of heart failure in the hospital….. When I get back I’ll look up the error codes. Thanks for all the help.
K.
memset is tricky and when it borks, its BSD. Amd cooler may have a new name…realy use just need to see if clocking is jacking the temps to high.
On the errors you gotta give me some,,,,
most times it will be an administrative or permission error because these softees mork @ the hardware level…I need thew error codes,,,
Ok, to reform my previous comment, NV GPU clocking tool is up and running, and so is CPU Clock, memset isn’t and neither is set front side bus….cudnt find AMD cooler. Sorry if I’m a hassle, have a good day.
Well…Ive run into a snag of sorts, I downloaded all the programs you advised, but when I try to run any of them an error report of some kind (varies by program) comes up. Not sure what Im doing wrong. Any advice? I know Im like a little kid with this lol first time tryin this, so if I mess it up no biggie got a desktop I can use.
Thanks man, rated all the videos I could find, your band is pretty kick ass, definitly my stype of music. Thanks forthe software tips theyll be put to good use. Keep rockn man its the only thing worth doin
yeah… cold out today north of boston
set front side bus —software
memset——software
cpuclock —–software
Nvidia gpu clocking tool——software
you will want your games to use as much gpu as possible….Use amd cooler —software to maintain temps ,,,,good luck
Im runnin vista 32 bit actually…and I’ll rate every video I can get my grubby lil hands on…fuck that guy…i dont see what the point of that was….hes an idiot.
K , I think by your hardware list you are still running WINXP 32bit,If so there are many software overclockers availible to you”set froft side buss/memset /nvidia clocking tools , but use these at your own risk.Your 64 bit cpu will is a bit wasted in this config, but your availible game titles are better than with vista 64….please rate,The gabrone bellow this post killed ALL my ratings…hope that helps, let me know what your os is.
Thanks, that’d be great…I feel like helen keller reading a basketball looking this stuff up lol lost and confused… HP dv2500 CPU is AMD TURION 64 X2 TL-58. 3 Gigs RAM (MAXED OUT) Graphics card is NVIDIA Geforce 7150M / nForce 630M (idk if its dedicated, I think so) Motherboard is Winstron 30D6 with Nvidia nForce 560 Chipset. Like I said man, any help would be much appreciated. Have an awesome day Ima go freeze my butt off moving equipement around in the cold. Peace.
hi Daborak
your machine may not have c4 sleep, depending on the cpu installed .If you have dedicated graphics card , you may be able to do some tweaking here, also you may be able to unload the machine of some windows resources to add speed.
thanks for stopping by,give me some specs, and i will research it for you.
The video is very informative, much appreciated, subscribed just cause of it lol Ive got a HP dv2500…yea I know its ancient lol….anyway…tried to find C4 state to disable it, but it was no where to be found. Was wondering if you had any thoughts on what I can do to improve the performance, Trying to run a game called Requiem that asks for 2.0 Ghz I’m currently at 1.9 so it runs, just very slow. Thanks, Keep up the awesomeness
thanks for the spam and killing my video ratings ,I know you want me for my body ,but I prefer tuna tacos instead of bologna the long way like yourself. If you wash the brown off o your nose and the white stain off your chin you might make better videos.
