How To overclock An Intel i5 750 Quad Core (@3675.03Ghz) with all Gigabyte Motherboards
| March 28, 2010 | Posted by computer accessory under Overclocking |
This is a Final Video from me that show you how to Overclock your Intel i5 Quad Core CPU to 3675.03Ghz with Turbo Boost Enabled. This Video would show you the correct way to Overclock your CPU and RAM. Also how to set the Voltages settings the correct way for a perfect Overclock. The following features are Disables, C1E, EIST, Virtualization Technology, Execute Disable bit, Speedstep, C-state Tech, and Spread Spectrum.. Please note that all Gigabyte motherboards do have addition voltages settings. When you set the CPU vcore @ 1.200V (CPU-Z says 1.1680V) Please be aware that this is only for the Intel i5 Quad Core. I have Build three more system in the last 3 weeks and all system have the same overclock settings and are running 100% Stable. I’ve ran Prime95 for 9 hours and 43 minutes and Memtest86 for more 20Hours Each system had a Difference Gigabyte motherboard that I build. UD4 – EX58 and a USB3.0 (Saying this for the record) For those that can’t read the numbers CPU Vcore 1.2000V QPI/VTT is at 1.1500V PCH Core 1.050V CPU PLL 1.800V DRAM (if 1333mhz overlock to 1400Mhz set voltage to 1.64Mhz) DRAM (if 1600Mhz overlock to 1700mhz set votlage to 1.64V If not overclocked then set it to 1.56ovoltages Please Rate and Comment with Questions if you have anything.

It might be a perfect BIOS overclock for YOUR CPU, but every CPU is different and won’t overclock the exact same way. 5/5 either way.
@keiki646 I understand that bud, but if someone has a bad batch of CPU, they could overheat and burn up their chip…I just think you should strongly urge people to overclock gradually rather than going full bore and ruining a great chip.
Thank you are the comment, alot of people ask me to make another one and the more people ask the more I was like ok one more and the final one…
great video 5/5
@IHunger4Battle1 This is for Only Intel i5 Quad Core, In the last 3 weeks I have build 3 Intel i5 Quad Core Gaming RIG’s, One for my friend KOU and the two others were clients that ask me if I can help them and the system for overclocking I did the same and I have Prime95 all three system and memtest86 and no errors
Quote ” she thought it would me good that I would overclock his system at a nice overclock ratio.” He not she
Oh I’ve fully understand what you are saying.
one client wanted me to overclock it to 4.0Ghz and just told him the truth that it would be recommended that I would like to overclock the system to at lease 3.4Ghz. After explaining to him everything about airflow of the case and etc, she thought it would me good that I would overclock his system at a nice overclock ratio. So his temps are in the mid 30′s to Late 30″s on idle, full load is low 50 ‘s and late 40″s. (his case is a antec 900
thanks for the clip but im having problems reading some of the numbers too. the video is a little blocky and i cant tell the diff between 0′s and 8′s the numbers are hard to read. I am looking to do this on my i5 750 too but as a first timer i dont want to put the wrong numbers in. Can i ask you to clarify some of the figrues i cant read please?
@rodrocket2009 You’re the only one saying that you can’t see it and everyone else says that they can see it clear.
@xfm766 In the more Info I wrote down the Voltages
CPU Vcore 1.2000V
QPI/VTT 1.150
PCH 1.05 or 1.10
PLL 1.800
@Mdot1982 It’s E.S Posthumus
what kind of music is that called? it’s good stuff. is it orchestra stuff? movie music?
@ysatria THANK YOU
nicely done
)) very useful!
@GreeneMan510 thank you
Good stuff.
@xfm766 Ok if you were just viewing this video you can clearly see when you overclock the CPU you can see the Memory Multiplier change as you overclock for the Base Clock.
thanks for this mate. I appreciate your assistance.
do i need to overclock the RAM?
Im only new to this and have read a few articles and seen a few youtube vids but everyone seems to have a different method.
For those that can’t read the numbers
CPU Vcore 1.2000V
QPI/VTT is at 1.1500V
PCH Core 1.050V
CPU PLL 1.800V
DRAM (if 1333MHz overlock to 1400Mhz set voltage to 1.64Mhz)
DRAM (if 1600Mhz overlock to 1700MHz set votlage to 1.64V
If not overclocked then set it to 1.56oVoltages
I was just looking on the website and someone is using my video and doing a lot of false commenting here with my name. This is bullshit here, Half of the comments here I didn’t even write
