How do you sue friend of the court for being bios?
| March 6, 2010 | Posted by computer accessory under BIOS |
I won’t go into detail but I just need the basics. Where do I go to sue friend of the court for being bios? Yes, I have proof. Please, no sarcastic answers. This is serious.
I misspelled the word bias, I appologize. Spelling is not one of my strong points. They are being bias because I am straight. My ex husband broke into my home, I filed a police report and nothing got done but when he lied and said that I will not let him see our daughter and I have proof he called and made up excuses why he can’t come and see her and now I am looking at jail time. I have proof that he is lying and he has no proof on me. I had witnesses and proof he broke into my home and he still gets away with it but when he lies on me, I am the one in trouble. I have complete proof that they are playing favorites because he’s gay and I’m straight. I’m not ripping on him over it. That’s his business but I have a problem when I’m treated differently for being straight. It makes no sence.

to your states site for government and find the place to turn them in, and also a really good lawyer could prove this.
I have no idea what "bios" is.
I don’t understand, are you saying that they were biased? If so, it depends on what they were being biased against. If it was against your sexual preference, you could probably get help from GLAAD. If it was against your race, you could get help from organizations like the NAACP. There are many interest groups out there that could help you with your legal problems if you have proof that the court was being biased. If the court has already reached a verdict, you could appeal.
If you mean biased…then nowhere..that is not a actionable offense..
Bios???
Ha ha… "bios". Your friend is a computer
Its called an appellate court. Once there is a final adjudication or some kind of an appealable order, you have to notice your appeal using the proper paperwork and challenge the court’s ruling. If its a judge that’s biased, you can move to disqualify the judge, assuming you do it within whatever time is permitted under the court’s rules.
You should hire a lawyer since none of us know what state you’re in, or what you mean by a friend of the court.
Basically a "friend of the court" or Amucus Curiae is someone who files papers in support of one side of a case or another. However, the court still has to grant them standing to make the argument. They can’t just file papers.
And yes, a "friend of the court" is going to take a position on one side of the case or another, and no, you can’t sue them for what they do in court. That’s protected. You can appeal any adverse rulings though.
Like I said, hire a lawyer or go to legal aid and ask for one if you can’t afford one.
