How do I determine what type of BIOS my laptop has?

I’m trying to figure out what type of BIOS is on my laptop. (( AMI, Award, Phoeniz, etc. )), but I’ve been unable to locate any information to help me do so. I tried looking up how to do so on the internet, and I can’t find anything at all.
Download CPUZ and install. then go to the Mainboard tab, it will tell you there what make your BIOS is.
restart and hold the key to enter setup, (delete, f2, whatever)
Easier way
Start > Accessories > System Tools > System Info
Should display BIOS Version / Date
