How can i repair my computers BIOS if the Screen is blank?

I attempted to upgrade the BIOS on my laptop to prevent my screen from randomly blacking out.Unfortunately, the screen wont come on at all and i am unable to repair the BIOS with the help of the monitor. Is there any other method where i can repair my laptop and get it to where i can see a image on the screen. The laptop is a Toshiba A215-S4757. Any help would be appreciated.

if the screen is blank and will not come on then you have a bit of a tricky ride
i take it that when you press the power button you can hear the fan wirring?
try removing the battery from the computer and the power supply and leave it for atleast one hour, after put the battery back and the power lead and see if the laptop screen comes on
if not then you need to go to a technition who can fix the problem for you
