How 2 remove uninstalled operating system options in bios start?
| March 23, 2011 | Posted by computer accessory under BIOS |
I had multiple operating systems installed on this machine, but decided I’d stick w/ only Windows 7. So how do I delete obsolete options in bios when I start?
Thanks.

I don’t think you mean the options in the BIOS start. I think you mean the options provided by the operating system’s boot loader. The tool to do this is called "bcdedit" (first link). This tool is difficult to use and you may prefer a more user-friendly program like EasyBCD (second link).
The only way I know will be to format the disk and start over. Having a copy of an OS on the drive will leave files that your boot up log will look for.
Are the 2 OS’s on the same drive in different partitions? Are the OS’s on different hard drives?
If they are on a partitioned drive here is the instructions:

If they are on separate drives then you can just reformat the drive you no longer want to use.
Good luck
