hello, how do i adjust the memory of my geforce 6150se from 256mb to 512mb? i have 2gig or ram in my pc?

we brought a new computer, and we supposedly have 512 memory for the video card. but when i run dxdiag, it just says 256mb. i know that geforce6150 shares in the ram memory, and we have 2gig of ram, so how do i adjust it to become 512?

It’s a BIOS option usually. Reboot the PC and watch carefully for text saying something like "Press F2 to enter setup" it may not be F2, and it may say BIOS instead of Setup. There will be a setting in there you can change to adjust the amount of RAM assigned to video memory.
Sometimes its dynamic though. It shows as 256MB because it doesn’t need much at the moment, and will automatically step up to 512MB when a program requests more video memory. Remember, Video memory does not directly affect performance!
