Excellent, du gros matos, du gros boulot, dans quel genre d’endroit ça s’achète le “dry ice” ? Je vous envie avec les -55 degrès au debut, moi au Brésil j’ai 100 degrés et arrêt système, heureusement que je tourne sous Linux sans quoi ça crâmerait…
it doesn’t run at 6 GhZ standard, they OVERCLOCKED it from 3 GhZ to 6 GhZ, and all the “crap” is stuff to cool it down, if they should run it without all the cooling stuff they would fry it
Where the frick do you get the money for a 6.0 Ghz processor and that crap you put into your super computer.
i saw one of these pentium 4 ht in a school computer and it runs at 3.60 ghz but the fans are pushing out about at lest 40 deg.
lol good to hear im not the only one who paid alot for a high end card, well right now i dont have any games but when i get call of duty world at war I’ll use nHancer, for now ill just oc my cpu

Lol I paid 130 or so for my 8600 in Jan 08′.
I’m going to OC it until it burns out, lol, I’ve gotten up to 101 C before, idles around 55-65C and overload (stock) 86C, overload (OC) 95C.
Try a program called nHancer for all sorts of neat features like driver forced Anti Aliasing modes.
hm well thats not what I heard. you should of been there to tell me that when i paid 100 dollars for it lol, i would overclock but there is no good software i could find to do it. whats good software?
Bullcrap. It’s not the Pentium 4, it’s the shitty video card.
A P4 is fine enough for even a 9800 GTX+, whatcha talkin’ bout’ Willis?
If you want to get more out of it, consider overclocking. I pushed my P4 Prescott w/ HT LGA 775 3.2 ghz to 4 ghz, runs smooth as ever, especially when I OC my 8600GT as well.
Looks pretty nice for temps and clockrate, when are ya gonna get more hardcore and cut off that IHS on the P4? Lose about 3-5 degrees C

Pentium 4 is dirt cheap processor, I saw on ebay for like 5-30 bucks, so you can do all the crazy shit you want to it cause its worth almost nothing which is a good thing.

Actually not really because it helps to understand what processors can truely do. I’ve heard of people taking an old 120mhz pentium processor then overclocking the sucker to 500mhz+. Had to put it inside of a freezer though.

I have a conroe 6600 at 3ghz with 1:1 mp and i have better results on superpi and pifast
