Create Bootable USB Flash Drive for Windows 7 or Vista Netbook Install
| March 7, 2010 | Posted by computer accessory under USB Gadgets |
This quick video is to demonstrate how one would take the Windows 7 DVD image (ISO) and copy the setup files so that one can install Windows 7 via a USB flash drive. I used this process to install Win 7 on my new Acer Aspire One Netbook. All hardware was detected flawlessly BTW. Very quick. Very pleased.

I read minimum 4Gb
Where do you get the “Windows 7 DVD image (ISO)”. Or can you create that by creating it in NERO or some DVD to make and ISO of the Win7 DVD
i ment to put listdisk without spaces, lol
Go into the Command Prompt (make sure you run it as admin). Type in the following without the parenthesis:
Disk Part
List Disk
Select Disk 1 (It should be your USB drive)
Clean
Regardless if it’s 32bit (86x) or 64 bit, it will work the same.
Hi! But if it is Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit? What should I do?
Im glad if you reply fast as possible!
