DVD format is VOB. It contains two folders Video_TS and Audio_TS, you have to convert your video to DVD compatible video at first, otherwise regular DVD player can not read and play it. If you don’t know how to burn a playable DVD, I think this DVD Creator would help you a lot. I always use it to convert and burn movie to DVD to play on my home TV, it’s easy to use and works pretty well, if you are interested in it, here is a step by step guide about how to use it.

Burn movies onto dvd to be watch well on DVD player, don’t care about the type of dvd discs, all standard writable dvd discs are right, such as DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc, so your HP DVD-R 16X disc is right, and the most important thing is that you need to use a right software to burn a standard video dvd from your movies, because most dvd players only recognize standard video DVD well, you can try RZ DVD Creator, it can convert any movies to standard video DVD and burn to any dvd disc(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), and you can watch the burned standard video DVD well on DVD player. I always use it to convert and burn my movies to DVD to play on my DVD player, it’s easy to use and works well, you can yahoo or google search RZ DVD Creator and download it, hope it can help you too.

Hi, I recommend you a good dvd burning software which can convert videos to DVD files(ISO, DVD folder) and burn videos to DVD discs. It can convert AVI to DVD, MPEG to DVD, MOV to DVD, MP4 to DVD, etc and directly burn DVD disc.

There are 2 choices, compressed folder, or USB secure program.

If you want usb secure, then use this

compressed folders can password protect and it’s free.

1. Put everything in one compressed folder.
2.When in the compressed folder, click File, then add a password. You can then choose any password you want.

And this only works on windows computer. I don’t know how to do it on a mac. You can also do it on other files. I also don’t know how to do it on a windows vista and windows 7.
