I need a new sound card, and yes i have checked everything to make sure, and I am planning on buying an external usb sound card. So my question is, do i need speakers or headphones for the sound card to work?

Camstudio does not record the sound from the computer since I don’t have a sound card. Fraps works without the help of sound card and also records the sound from the computer, however, it only record screens that are in fullscreen. Are there any left?
