Can you use a wireless mouse and keyboard on a desktop computer?

I recently purchased the Dell Inspiron 560 and I also purchased the Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard to go with it. When I spoke to the rep, she said nothing about it not being compatible, but when I received the mouse/keyboard it said that it makes laptop use more comfortable, but I don’t have a lap top, the mouse and keyboard also came with some sort of wire and a USB port.

Yes. I was visiting my friend recently & his keyboard & mouse are wireless.
Yeah, your mouse and keyboard should have a usb drive (wireless) that came with the equipment. hook it into any usb drive, make sure its a usb drive, allow it to install the drivers, and when its done, start typing and mousing away
Yes you can. I am also using a Dell Inspiron and Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. The mouse drains batteries fast though.
Yes you can, I have the wirless
Wireless mouse and keyboard are usually for desktops. Only wireless mouse are use for laptops.
Also if your desktop has USB port and not more than 5 years old then I am 100 percent sure your wireless kb and mouse are compatible.
yes you can. you plug the usb things into the computer, put batteries into the keyboard and mouse and you should be fine. the other answer was correct about using up batteries very fast
Yes you can.
