to add onto that, I use this card in Windows XP and Windows 7 and it works fine. your “reading experience” is nothing compared to someone who actually own it
go buy one to test for yourself noob. don’t go around discrediting people’s experience if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

It should be noted that this card -when operating in 5.1 settings- your rear speakers has to be plugged into the SIDE port instead of the BACK.
