Wow, the 3D looks very good, and so I do a lot of 3D work, and im guessing this processor pwnz… thank got my bday is in march, these cor i5s will be really helpful there…
yeah.. but i mean its two years old, and their thousand dollar “pro” products should have something thats more than “decent” as standard… cant wait to see what they offer in a month!!
@gan0nsl4y3r how is it? its a recent GPU and it runs decent speed for an integrated GPU (one of the fastest)
I am going to get a macbook pro soon, so I will wait…
@nofear519 yeah me too
nooo i recently got a macbook pro
9400m is so outdated!!
thanks
I’m also waiting for a new MacBook pro, I sold my aluminum MacBook and I need a computer!!
well when they made the intel transition, they wanted all of the computers to have mac in their name. so unless it runs iphone os i would think they would call it macslate.
Dave,
I’m glad I waited for the new macbook pros. An Apple rep told me he “thought” they would be priced about the same as the ones for sale right now. I guess will find out very soon!
Thanks!
@Dan7aylor i didnt want a macbook pro? too expensive

Hi dave! I am still waiting for the new macbook pro to come out.. don’t you think the 17″version will have the M-i7 processor in it? or and why not?
Plus, what kind of changes do you think the hardware will have.. like wifi-N, led-display, more usb 3.0 maybe.. i know you can’t know this.. but what do you THINK.. Again great video, keep it coming! Thanks!
Hi Dave mate, another excellent informative video from you. I have just fired of a PM to you.
It’s MSFT FUD that the i5 and i7 run too hot. Don’t listen to those idiots.
you looked better with the mustache and beard
!
wait are u saying that apple might skip this generation
?
one thing i was thinking about, are the tempereatures… the recent macbooks are running at relativly high temperatures. wont be temperature even higher with the new i5?… because my first thought was the i7 – one of the hottest running processors
I just don’t think Core i5 will go into the 13′ Macbook Pro’s. Core i3 is possible but I would prefer a 105m or better graphics instead of CPU upgrade
@nofear519 lol
blah blah maybe maybe
rumors are rumors for a reason
great vid 5/5 stars
Hi Dave thanks for another great video, hope the new year is going great for you.
I bought a 2.53 MBP 13 back in October and was worried when you mentioned the upcoming i5s. After seeing the figures though, the performance increase isn’t as great as I’d feared.
Regarding the upcoming tablet, I think iBook is the best possible name. Yes they used it before for funky coloured laptops, but they could revive it (no doubt with a pithy subtitle).
